The evaluation survey for the 'Sal de Casa 2026' summer campaign and the 'Hola Verano 2026' program in Villena has yielded high scores among participants and their families. The survey addressed key aspects such as development, themes, schedules, organization, and activity programming, achieving positive results across all areas. Additionally, suggestions for future improvements were gathered.
The Councilor for Childhood and Youth, Eva García, emphasized the importance of continuous improvement in such large-scale programs. "These are aspects we will consider for future editions. Our goal is to do things better and reach as many minors as possible, always within our available resources," she stated.
Satisfaction surveys conducted with families show very good results, with special mentions for the organization, extended hours, and variety of activities. The Council values the input received, which will help enrich future editions of the summer program.
This edition, which concluded last week, served 450 minors, representing a 25% increase compared to the 2025 edition. García indicated that it is a well-established educational leisure program that has grown due to the municipal commitment to youth and children. Over 37 uninterrupted days, more than 90 activities were offered across 15 different locations, supported by a team of 29 youth engagement professionals.
The primary objective of the “Sal de Casa 2026” summer campaign has been to foster community, bringing life to the city's streets, gardens, squares, municipal pools, promenades, and parks. Organized by the Department of Childhood and Youth, the initiative solidifies its position as a highly anticipated socio-educational program for families, aimed at children and adolescents aged 6 to 21, addressing the needs for work-life balance and citizen development.
“Sal de Casa” offers an alternative to digital or consumerist leisure, emphasizing the irreplaceable value of shared playtime, outdoor experiences, group work, and direct interpersonal connection, with creativity, imagination, and community spirit as the main protagonists.
