During the rainfall monitoring meeting of the València City Council, the decision by the GVA to lower the alert level to orange for rain in the Northern Coastline was confirmed. Consequently, new measures have been adopted that will be in effect for the duration of this situation.
The General Management Technician A2 opposition exam, held at the University of València, remains in place. Additionally, regulated and non-regulated educational activities will resume in the afternoon, including Conservatories, Universitat Popular, IES, Language Schools, and Senior Centers throughout the city, with the exception of those located in flood-prone areas and affected villages.
Museums and libraries have also reopened. However, parks and gardens, along with the Turia Garden and cemeteries, will remain closed.
Regarding sports activities, the Municipal Sports Foundation has suspended outdoor activities but is reopening indoor sports. Cultural activities in the neighborhoods continue to be suspended.
Occupancy data for shelters on Thursday night into Friday showed a total of 142 individuals. These included 24 people at CAES Santa Cruz Tenerife, 20 at CAES Daniel Balaciar, 10 at CAES Emergència Climàtica El Carmen, 68 at the Benimaclet Sports Center, and 20 at the Complex Esportiu Cultural Petxina.
