Fire prevention works have begun in the area of Sant Cristòfol Hermitage in L'Olleria, aiming to create perimeter strips and discontinuity zones.

The operations focus on the urban-forest interface zones IUF 201.06 and IUF 202.01, within the municipality of L´Olleria. These tasks are crucial for the safety of the natural and urban environment.
The execution of these works has been managed through a subsidy of €11,732.61 from the Municipal Strategic Fund for Fire Prevention and Forest Management 2026. This initiative is promoted by the Conselleria de Medi Ambient, Infraestructura i Territori (Ministry of Environment, Infrastructure, and Territory) and is part of L’Olleria's Local Forest Fire Prevention Plan (PLPIF).
The company carrying out the work is Franber Natura S.L., under the technical direction of David Belda, from Belda Ingenieros S.L. The L'Olleria City Council reiterates its commitment to preventing emergencies in its natural surroundings.
