The initiative aims to serve as a showcase for local talent, promote music in Valencian, and give visibility to female-formed groups, combining live band performances with DJ sets.
The first day, Saturday, September 5th, will be headlined by local band Udelgrau, known for its pop-rock compositions. The group Las Diamantes Negros, composed of four women offering energetic rock, will also perform. The night will conclude with a DJ set by Àngel González, who has been linked to Burriana since childhood and will bring a mix of urban music.
On Saturday, September 12th, the group Estiu, originally from Les Alqueries, will present their album entirely in Valencian. The live lineup will be completed by La Mirada de Kahlo, a pop-rock and indie band. The DJ set to close the day will be by Eva Manhattan, a professional with over a decade of experience specializing in 'open format' sessions.
The Councilor for Festivals, Paloma Boix, highlighted the event's significance: “The SONA festival represents a fantastic opportunity to showcase and support the extraordinary musical talent we have in our city.” She added that it is a proposal “designed for the enjoyment of all audiences, combining diverse styles and revitalizing our city with quality culture.”
