The emergency plan, which will be active from July 29 to August 3, aims to organize traffic and reduce congestion at the festival venue entrances. The main novelty of this edition is the installation of traffic filters at the entry points to the maritime zone.
The operation will involve the Civil Guard, which will handle nearly 1,000 services, including a cavalry unit. Meanwhile, the Local Police will perform around 390 services focused on public safety and managing bus arrivals, while the Provincial Fire Consortium will deploy its aquatic rescue unit.
Regarding parking, 22,000 spaces have been enabled in various locations such as Formolevante, Malva-rosa, and Novenes. Additionally, it has been agreed to expand exclusive parking zones for residents in the Port and Grau areas to facilitate local mobility during the concert days.
Finally, a permanent shuttle bus service has been established to connect parking areas with the concert zone. The Mediterránea Avenue will maintain two-way traffic during the day, closing to traffic only after 11:00 PM to minimize disruption to residents.
