The musical group La Gossa Sorda has confirmed that on October 11th, they will hold their farewell concert, named 'Últim Aquelarre', in the town of Pego. This performance will mark the band's definitive end on stage, serving as the grand finale to their successful comeback tour, 'A Tornallom'.
The 'A Tornallom' tour has traveled across various autonomous communities over the past months, including the Valencian Community, Catalonia, Andalusia, and the Balearic Islands, with planned performances still to take place in Galicia and Belgium. According to a statement from the group, it is expected that the band will have performed for over 200,000 people and supported 40 social collectives by the tour's conclusion.
The band has expressed their desire for the Pego event to be "unforgettable" and has announced that more details will be provided soon. La Gossa Sorda explains that their return initially aimed to "plant the seed," and now, with the tour's end, they feel it's time to "celebrate the last party."
For this special concert, the group has found a suitable venue in their hometown thanks to the collaboration of the company Asevi, which has provided a "fabulous" space for the event. The band has expressed gratitude for the company's full cooperation from the outset.
The involvement of the Pego City Council in the event's logistics has also been acknowledged, with a request for the neighborhood's cooperation and understanding. Online ticket sales will commence on August 30th at 12:00 PM.
To ensure Pego residents can attend, a portion of the tickets has been reserved for in-person sales at the Casa de Cultura and Ausiàs March Pavilion starting September 1st. Proof of residency with a DNI will be required, and purchases will be limited to four tickets per person.
Additionally, La Gossa Sorda has announced a special concert for children on October 9th at another location in town, with further details to be released later. The group notes that this initiative is part of their goal to "plant the seed of La Polseguera."
The band had announced their return on October 9th of last year, after nearly a decade of inactivity. The 'A Tornallom' tour, with concerts scheduled for 2026, has aimed to "encourage people to face the adversities of our society."
