The Quart de Poblet City Council has recorded a 14% increase in participation in its guided tours during the first half of 2026, exceeding 500 participants.

Between January and June 2026, a total of 524 people participated in the scheduled tourist activities, a figure that surpasses the 459 recorded in the same period of the previous year. This growth highlights a growing interest in discovering the municipality's heritage, history, and culture through proximity tourism initiatives.
The 'Ruta de l’Aigua' (Water Route), one of the most established proposals, attracted 161 participants. However, the most significant increase was seen in the 'Ruta Misteris, batalles i llegendes d’ahir i hui' (Route of Mysteries, Battles, and Legends of Yesterday and Today), which grew from 53 to 124 participants. The 'Ruta QDP 36/39', focused on historical memory, had 97 attendees, eight more than last year.
Two new routes were introduced this year: the 'Ruta de Patrimoni Industrial i Arquitectònic' (Industrial and Architectural Heritage Route), with 68 participants, and the 'Ruta Quart de Poblet en Femení' (Quart de Poblet Route in Feminine), which registered 59 people. The theatricalized proposal 'Quartum Miliarium' added 15 attendees.
The profile of participants has also evolved. While residents of Quart de Poblet remain the majority (67.1%), their proportion has decreased from 76.6% in 2025. This has led to a greater presence of visitors from other towns in the Valencian Community (25%) and a notable increase in international tourism, which rose from 0.7% to 5.5%.
Concerted visits for local and regional groups also saw an increase, bringing together 140 people in the first semester, compared to 127 in 2025. Groups such as Unisocietat, the Escola d’Adults de Xirivella (Xirivella Adult School), and the Associació San Enrique (San Enrique Association) participated in these activities.
Participant satisfaction remains high, with an average score of 4.9 out of 5. Word-of-mouth and social media continue to be the primary channels through which people learn about the various offerings.
The Municipal Tourist Office attended to 247 visits in the first six months, with the highest influx in May. Most visitors come from Quart de Poblet (199), followed by people from València, nearby municipalities such as Manises, Burjassot, and Mislata, and international tourists from countries including the Netherlands, Norway, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom.
