The Paterna City Council is launching the 'Omega Games', a new youth competition to be held on Saturday, November 21st, at the Municipal Sports City, combining physical, mental, and skill-based challenges.

The Omega Games arrive in Paterna to test the physical condition, ingenuity, and skill of the city's youth. The competition, part of the City Council's new Youth program, will take place on Saturday, November 21st, starting at 9:00 AM at the Municipal Sports City.
The Councilor for Youth, Johana Gómez, explained that this initiative not only expands youth leisure offerings but also provides young people with plans to enjoy with their friends without leaving the city. “With proposals like this, we not only expand the youth leisure offer but also provide our young people with plans to enjoy with their friends without leaving the city,” she stated.
Throughout the day, participants will have to overcome individual and team challenges, where physical condition and dexterity will be assessed, as well as ingenuity, concentration, and coordination skills. The winner will receive a prize of 1,000 euros.
The activity is part of the municipal Youth program, managed through the Casa Jove, which aims to offer leisure alternatives for young people to enjoy their free time, meet people, and have new experiences in Paterna.
Johana Gómez highlighted the interesting nature of the games, stating, “each challenge demands something different. There will be moments to demonstrate skill, others to think quickly, and others where agreement with the team will be necessary.” She encouraged young people to sign up with their friends.
The competition is open to individuals aged 16 and over and has 500 places available. Registration costs 5 euros, while entry for spectators is free. Interested individuals can reserve their spot on the Los Juegos de Omega website.
