The Imaginarte urban art festival in Geldo, ongoing since September 21st, concludes on Saturday, October 10th, and Sunday, October 11th, with a diverse range of activities. After more than a decade, Geldo's Urban Art Circuit has surpassed 80 pieces painted by local, national, and international artists, establishing itself as a significant open-air museum in the Valencian Community.
This year's invited artists include ITSPERFECTCHAOS (Huelva), DANA ALESSI (Buenos Aires), NSN997 (Naples), ALBA BLA (Valencia), and URI KTHR (Tarragona). The mural inauguration will take place on Sunday, October 11th, at 12:00 PM with a guided tour of the circuit, led by Spain's two-time beatbox champion, FREDY BEATS, starting from Plaza de España in Geldo.
On Saturday, October 10th, at 5:00 PM, there will be a rap 'tardeo' (afternoon session) featuring legendary MC ALBERTO (Burriana), who will give a DJ-conference session on the pioneers of Valencian rap, followed by a concert by SUCIOS SABIOS, the rap crew from the Alto Palancia region.
The festival's highlight will undoubtedly be on Sunday, October 11th, at 7:00 PM, at the “Las Escuelas” Multipurpose Scenic Space, with the closing performance by E-@rts Hip Hop (ENSEMBLE D’ARTS + STEREO FRESH DANCE Co.). This transmedia music and dance proposal, a finalist for the XXIV Max Awards for Performing Arts, revisits hip-hop culture from a contemporary and avant-garde musical composition perspective.
With the collaboration of the Castellón Provincial Council and companies such as Bricodec Giménez, Plataformas Elevadoras Rafael Rovira, and Cerveza Ecológica Artesana L’Audaç, Geldo reaffirms its status as a cultural benchmark in Alto Palancia. The Geldo City Council, which was also a Valencian Community Cultural Capital in 2023, promotes culture across various disciplines and benefits from its location between the natural parks of Sierra de Espadán and Sierra Calderona.
The Imaginarte 2026 festival includes artistic interventions by ITSPERFECTCHAOS, DANA ALESSI, NSN997, URI KTHR, and ALBA BLAS. On Saturday, October 10th, there will be a DJ session with MC ALBERTO and a rap jam with SUCIOS SABIOS in Plaza de España. On Sunday the 11th, FREDY BEATS will inaugurate the urban art circuit and E-@rts Hip Hop will close the festival at the “Las Escuelas” Multipurpose Scenic Space.
