To mark World Tourism Day, the Camilo Sesto Museum in Alcoy will sell tickets for 5 euros for the upcoming September 27th, celebrating its significant visitor numbers.
To celebrate World Tourism Day, taking place on September 27th, the Alcoy City Council has announced that tickets to visit the Camilo Sesto Museum on that morning will be priced at a single rate of 5 euros. These special tickets will go on sale in the coming days via the museum's website.
The Camilo Sesto Museum offers a journey through the singer's life and achievements, divided into a floor dedicated to his artistic career and another to his more intimate and personal side. The venue invites visitors to immerse themselves in his music and understand the legacy of a mass phenomenon.
Since its inauguration on June 11th, the museum has received a great welcome, with 929 visitors in June, 880 in July, and 958 in August. Saturdays are the busiest days, followed by Wednesdays and Sundays, primarily in the morning. Tickets sold to date, including September reservations, amount to 3,001.
The Councilor for Tourism and Cultural Heritage, Lorena Zamorano, expressed her satisfaction with these figures, highlighting that the museum is beginning to act as a tourism driver for Alcoy, benefiting the hospitality and restaurant sectors.
