The Tívoli Cinema in Burjassot is premiering two Spanish films this first weekend of September: the family animation Tadeo Jones y la lámpara maravillosa and Rodrigo Sorogoyen's drama El ser querido.

From Friday, September 4th to Monday, September 7th, the Tívoli Cinema in Burjassot will feature a lineup dominated by Spanish cinema with two notable premieres. The family animation offering is Tadeo Jones y la lámpara maravillosa, the latest installment of the popular saga, while director Rodrigo Sorogoyen presents his new feature film, El ser querido.
The renowned Spanish animated archaeologist Tadeo Jones returns in a new adventure, Tadeo Jones y la lámpara maravillosa, directed by Enrique Gato. This time, Tadeo and Sara are parents to Olimpia, a young child who has taken the spotlight from Momia. A time-traveling journey triggered by the search for Aladdin's marvelous lamp will force them to travel the world to prevent historical changes. The film, suitable for all audiences, will be shown on Friday the 4th and Saturday the 5th at 6:00 PM and 8:15 PM, and on Sunday the 6th and Monday the 7th at 6:00 PM.
The second premiere is El ser querido, a new work by Rodrigo Sorogoyen, co-written with Isabel Peña, and starring Javier Bardem and Victoria Luengo. The plot centers on Esteban, a film director, and his daughter Emilia, an actress, who reunite after years of estrangement. The film explores their complex father-daughter relationship, marked by silence and past hurts. It will be screened on Friday the 4th and Saturday the 5th at 10:30 PM, and on Sunday the 6th and Monday the 7th at 8:15 PM.
Tickets for these premieres are a flat rate of four euros. They can be purchased online via the Cine Tívoli website and at the box office, starting 45 minutes before each screening.
