The production, a drama from the company Good Films Collective, utilizes various historical and natural settings within the municipality to recreate its fictional narrative across different time periods. The Alcoy City Council, through its Tourism Department, has authorized the use of public spaces to facilitate the filming.
Filming is taking place in two key locations: the Jardins de Brutinel area, near the Salt waterfall, where historical ambiances have been recreated with complex technical setups; and the Tossals i Molins zone, utilizing the old Hermanos Gisbert factory building, leveraging Alcoy's unique industrial heritage.
“"Alcoy has demonstrated its capacity to attract productions of this significant economic and artistic scale, highlighting the city's potential as a driver for the audiovisual industry."
Councillor for Tourism, Lorena Zamorano, emphasizes that such projects position local spaces as generators of wealth and employment, and that the work of the film office opens doors for the international projection of the city's heritage. According to Zamorano, top-tier cinematic activity directly benefits the local economy, commercial fabric, and the municipality's professionals.
