Universitat Jaume I has been distinguished with two awards at the 2026 Joan Lluís Vives Awards for university publishing, which recognize the scientific and editorial quality of the published works.

The jury awarded the prize for best social sciences book to the work Ensenyar (llengües) al País Valencià. Reflexions des de l’interaccionisme discursiu. This work delves into the challenges of plurilingual education and proposes innovative didactic resources for teaching professionals and educational policy makers.
Furthermore, the Llibre de privilegis de Morella (1225-1395) was recognized as the best edition. This publication compiles extensive historical documentation on the town, including texts in Latin and vernacular that detail everything from municipal agreements to judicial sentences and ecclesiastical documents from the medieval period.
The awards, which were presented during the ceremony for the Red Vives University Medal of Honor, highlight the work of university publishers in disseminating knowledge and promoting the language in the academic sphere.
