These courses are aimed at students coming from 2nd year of Baccalaureate or Higher Vocational Training Cycles who, due to their chosen academic path, have not taken one or more of the relevant modal subjects for adequate academic performance in the first year of their chosen Degree. The activities consist of 20 teaching hours.
On the Elche campus, the UMH offers a total of six courses: Biology, Physics, Mathematics II, Mathematics Applied to Social Sciences, and Chemistry. These are aimed at degrees in the branches of Science, Health Sciences, Engineering, and Social and Legal Sciences.
On the Sant Joan d’Alacant campus, courses in Biology and Physics will be taught for the Degrees in Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Medicine, Podiatry, and Occupational Therapy.
Likewise, on the Orihuela – Salesas campus, the course in Mathematics Applied to Social Sciences is offered, aimed at Degrees in Business Administration and Management and Political Science and Administration.
Finally, on the Orihuela – Desamparados campus, courses in Physics, Mathematics II, and Chemistry are offered for the Degrees in Food Science and Technology.
