The program will kick off on Saturday, September 19, with the Confraternity Day, which will include a festive Angelus, the celebration of the Eucharist with a novena to the Virgin, and the imposition of medals to new members. The evening will feature a concert by the Coral Mare de Déu del Socors and the Coral José Roca de Valencia in the chapel of the Institut Ntra. Sra. del Socorro.
On Sunday, September 20, Senior Citizens' and Evangelizers' Day, the Eucharist will be celebrated in the chapel, followed by a lunch for the elderly in the courtyard of the Ntra. Sra. del Socorro school. In the afternoon, the pilgrim image of the Virgin will be transferred to the cemetery, with the recitation of the Holy Rosary, followed by another Eucharist celebration.
Throughout the week, from September 21 to 25, daily events will take place with the participation of Fallas groups, Regional Houses, Associations, Confraternities, music bands, and religious movements like Junior. Notably, on Tuesday, September 22, the pilgrim image will tour various streets of the municipality to the Cofradía del Santísimo Cristo de la Misericordia, where a Holy Mass will be held, with poetry recitals by 'Versos al Viento'.
On Friday, September 25, Subscribers' Day, in addition to the mass, a poetry recital titled 'Una vida entre visillos' (A Life Behind Curtains), in homage to Carmen Martín Gaite, organized by the Culture department, will take place at the CC Molí.
On Saturday, September 26, Families' Day, the Solemn Vigil will be held at the Church of Ntra. Sra. del Socorro in Benetússer, with the descent of the "Mare de Déu" image by the Santo Descendimiento y Cristo Resucitado confraternity. The night will conclude with a Nit d'albaes (traditional Valencian music) and hot chocolate in the Town Hall square.
The festivities will culminate on Sunday, September 27, Patron Saint's Day, with morning masses and a solemn mass at 7:30 PM. At 9:00 PM, the Solemn Procession will take place in honor of the Virgen del Socorro and San Sebastián, with the participation of the entire town, authorities, and confraternity members.
