The Falleras Mayores of Oliva for 2027, Alba Cabrera and Tania Gisbert, celebrated their official 'demanà' ceremony this Saturday at Hort de la Bosca Park, marking the first official step in their roles.

The event, held on Saturday, August 22nd, was special as it marked the first time Oliva has had two protagonists as Falleras Mayores, with the incorporation of the Fallera Mayor Infantil, a position Tania Gisbert is now taking on alongside Alba Cabrera.
The celebration was attended by the mayor, Yolanda Pastor, the Councilor for Festivals, Álvaro Sánchez, as well as various councilors and representatives from the different political groups of the city council.
Following tradition, both falleras responded to the question posed by the mayor, thus formally accepting their roles as the highest representatives of Oliva's fallas.

"I want to take this opportunity to congratulate Alba and Tania for this very special year ahead of them; I am sure that, accompanied by their Courts of Honor, they will be magnificent ambassadors for our festivals."

Álvaro Sánchez · Councilor for Festivals

"From the Oliva City Council, we wish Alba and Tania a wonderful Fallas year. Days full of many emotions, joy, pride, and satisfaction await you as you represent the festival you love so much. Best wishes for a Fallas year in which you will shine brighter than ever."

Yolanda Pastor · Mayor of Oliva
