Civil Guard agents, with the support of the Benifaió Local Police, have arrested three individuals accused of planning a tunnel robbery at a local bank.

The incident occurred early this Monday when a police operation surprised the three men in the process of their work in a property adjacent to the bank, located on Calle Mayor. Residents had previously reported strange noises coming from the unoccupied building.
Upon discovery, the detainees, residents of Paterna, attempted to flee across the rooftops and light wells of nearby homes. During the pursuit, one of the individuals fell into one of these wells, fracturing his leg.

"One of the individuals was treated for a fractured limb and transferred to a hospital under arrest."
