Following the submission of 57 proposals by the community, the time has come to decide which initiatives will materialize to enhance Alfarrasí. All residents registered in the municipality aged 16 and over are invited to participate in this process.
The voting system allows each participant to award two points to their preferred proposal and one point to their second choice. Votes can be cast digitally via the City Council's website, in person at the Library and municipal offices, or at a stand set up in the municipal market next Monday, September 28th.
The five finalist proposals include the comprehensive improvement and accessibility of the Municipal Cemetery, the planting of trees on various streets to provide shade, the creation of an inclusive children's park in the Hermitage Park, the expansion of public lighting to enhance safety, and the creation of urban art murals on town walls.
The City Council will soon publish a feasibility report detailing the reasons why some of the initial 57 proposals were not included in the final voting list.
This edition of the participatory budgets has received a grant of 6,000 euros from the Ministry of Justice, Transparency, and Participation of the Generalitat Valenciana and the area of Open Government and Institutional Integrity of the Provincial Council of Valencia.
