The program, named Empleaverde+, is delivered through three distinct training pathways, each accommodating 15 students. The first pathway, focused on auxiliary activities in organic farming, commenced on July 28th. The second pathway, concentrating on the installation and maintenance of gardens and green spaces, is scheduled to begin on September 20th. The third course is oriented towards road passenger transport, requiring participants to hold the relevant driving license.
The organic farming pathway will span a full year, balancing theoretical and practical content. According to Joan Silvan, the instructor, students will cover essential topics such as basic farm tools and tasks, pest control, and the principles of organic agriculture.
Upon completion of the training in June, participants will receive a certificate for 1,200 hours of training, issued by IDEA and the competent authorities. This certificate will also enable them to pursue further studies in the field of ecological training.
Adriana Florescu, director of EMPLEAVERDE, highlighted the ambitious nature of this project, which aims to enhance the professional competence of unemployed individuals and facilitate their reintegration into the job market.
The courses are entirely free and take place from 8 AM to 2 PM. Students also receive a daily scholarship of 9 euros. IDEA provides all necessary materials, including uniforms, and explores additional opportunities such as Erasmus programs for participants.
