The Camporrobles City Council has received a grant of 10,000 euros from the Provincial Council of Valencia for the drafting of a European project focused on rural culture, gastronomy, and citizenship.

This aid is part of the call for grants aimed at municipalities in the province for the drafting of European projects in the areas of youth and culture, corresponding to the 2026 fiscal year. It will cover the drafting of the project “Heritage at the Table: rural culture, gastronomy, and European citizenship”, which falls under the Town Twinning call (CERV-2026-CITIZENS-TOWN-TT) of the European program Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV).
The main objective of this initiative is to foster cultural dynamization, citizen participation, and a sense of European belonging through twinning between rural municipalities. To achieve this, the local archaeological and historical heritage, such as the El Molón site and the Museum Collection, as well as local gastronomy and the wine tradition of Tierra Bobal, will be highlighted.
Community dissemination will be carried out through the cultural magazine Desde la Gallarda, using it as a tool for intercultural dialogue, inclusion, and social cohesion to combat depopulation. The project will be formally presented within the framework of the CERV program call.
