The gastronomic event, now a staple in the municipal calendar, aims to promote melons grown in the Marjal, a product known for its flavor and texture. Throughout the weekend, attendees will be able to learn about the work of local producers, including the Cooperativa San Isidro and various industry firms.
A highlight of the program will be the showcooking scheduled for this Sunday at 8:00 PM. In this activity, Michelin-starred chefs will demonstrate the versatility of this fruit in signature cuisine. Additionally, the event will include children's workshops, tastings, and raffles for L'Exquisit Mediterrani products.
Community participation will be represented by a stand from local housewives' associations, adding a traditional touch to the fair. The organization is sponsored by Caixa Xilxes, an entity that supports the promotion of local customs and resources.
