The first day of bullfighting events at the Moncofa festivities in honor of Santa María Magdalena has ended with a young man injured after being gored by a bull.

The incident occurred this Tuesday, a few minutes after the bullfighting exhibition began. According to witnesses present at the venue, the young man slipped and fell to the ground, at which point the animal gored him and tossed him several times.
Emergency services intervened quickly at the scene to stabilize the injured man, applying a tourniquet to control the bleeding. Subsequently, an ambulance evacuated the young man to a hospital for a more thorough medical assessment.
This Tuesday, known as the Día del Bou, marks the start of the bullfighting events in the town's festive program. The schedule of festivities will continue next Saturday the 25th and Tuesday the 28th with new exhibitions.
