The second day of the Benicàssim International Festival (FIB) saw a complete sell-out at the venue, with thousands of attendees enjoying the musical program despite high temperatures.

The intense heat caused many attendees to enter the venue later, but the atmosphere gradually livened up. Marlena opened the day with a notable reception in their festival debut. Subsequently, La La Love You turned their concert into a true party, demonstrating their strong connection with the audience, who sang along to their songs. Vocalist David Merino summarized the general feeling with 'FIB never disappoints'.
As the sun set, the major international headliners arrived. The Kooks delivered an anticipated performance, revisiting anthems like ‘Naive’, ‘Sweet Emotion’, ‘Ooh La’, and ‘Junk Of The Hearth’, which drew thousands. Kaiser Chiefs took over with an energetic live set, constantly interacting with the crowd and performing hits like ‘Ruby’ or ‘I Predict a Riot’, turning the venue into a massive collective choir.
The lineup was completed by artists such as Veintiuno, The Reytons, Vera Fauna, Deadletter, Flowerovlove, Neverland Bari, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Pendulum Live, and Example. DJ sets extended the music into the early morning, with Pendulum Live offering a standout electronic performance and Sophie Ellis-Bextor attracting numerous festival-goers.
Outside the venue, about thirty people gathered to express their rejection of the link between the FIB promoter and the US investment fund KKR, carrying Palestinian flags.
FIB 2026 will conclude this Saturday with The Prodigy as the headliner, accompanied by Biffy Clyro, Jet, The Fratellis, and Dorian, as well as national acts like Sexy Zebras and La Habitación Roja.
