Mislata's Young Market has concluded a program dedicated to youth participation, featuring clothing exchange, music, embroidery workshops, a live podcast, and a youth forum. The event, promoted by the Youth Department, encourages sustainability and responsible consumption among young people.
A dozen youth associations and various city resources showcased their proposals during an afternoon filled with workshops, games, and live performances by Candela Gómez and Naina. Valencian singer Candela Gómez performed an intimate acoustic set blending experimentation with Valencian roots.
The MislataJove 2202 program, driven by the Youth Department, allows young people to enjoy the pool and participate in workshops, activities, and events in a safe and free environment. This initiative, designed to offer healthy leisure alternatives, brought together families for continuous games, workshops, activities, and performances.
Other notable activities include the creation of unique scenes and characters based on attendee-submitted phrases at El Terrat de La Fábrica, a Halloween celebration with healthy leisure options, and sessions where youth reconsidered housing, consumption, and the planet's future. Video creation workshops using the Capcut program and musical performances within the Cooltura Joven Sessions program have also been organized.
The Mislata Color Run attracted hundreds to the Felipe Bellver amphitheater, where youth association proposals were presented. Additionally, the “Crea tu taza” (Create your mug) workshop taught creative techniques for making custom mugs. The Mislata Joven 22.02 program stands out as a key event in the municipality's summer nightlife programming.
The Corresponsables Plan, resulting from a participatory process with Mislata's youth, aims to strengthen the city's youth policies. Contact information provided includes the phone number 963991100 and the email address correuciutada@mislata.es.
