The Meliana City Council will strengthen its commitment to citizens through the municipal initiative «Meliana clara: Content renewal for cutting-edge transparency». This action plan aims to overhaul the council's communication and public information platforms, updating active publicity and restructuring the municipal website, electronic headquarters, and transparency portal.
The main objective is to evolve towards effective transparency focused on usability and clarity, moving beyond mere document availability. The project includes a detailed situation report, redesign of the web architecture, adaptation of content to clear language, creation of an internal publication guide, and training for municipal staff through workshops.
This initiative represents a firm commitment to bringing the administration closer to the population's needs, promoting democratic control and trust in public management. The project was made possible by a grant from the Generalitat Valenciana, through the Conselleria de Justicia, Transparencia y Participación, and the Provincial Council of Valencia, aimed at municipalities with fewer than 20,000 inhabitants to foster citizen participation, transparency, and good local governance.
