The rural thriller, filmed entirely in Valencian, arrives on Burjassot's big screen for its national premiere on Friday, September 4th. The film, with a runtime of 100 minutes, features a notable cast led by Pablo Molinero, Cristina Fernández Pintado, María Maroto, and Pablo Derqui, alongside performers such as Abdelatif Hwidar, Àngel Fígols, Gloria March, and Marta Belenguer.
The screenplay, by Joana M. Ortueta and Jorge Juan Martínez, tells the story of Lluc, a man who, after losing everything, finds a new life in an isolated community led by Alba. Seemingly harmonious, the coexistence is disrupted when Lluc uncovers the dark secrets and perversion of the system.
Following the screenings at the Auditorium, audiences will have a second opportunity to see Eixam at Cine Tívoli, from September 11th to 14th. The screening on Saturday, September 12th, will include a presentation of the film by director Òscar Bernàcer, followed by a Q&A session with attendees.
Tickets to enjoy this local cinema are priced at a flat rate of four euros and can be purchased online via the Cine Tívoli website or directly at the box office, starting 45 minutes before each screening.
