The Valencian Community Transfusion Center will keep its appointment with Burjassot on Tuesday, August 4th, offering citizens the opportunity to be supportive of patients in Valencian hospitals.
The event will take place at two locations in the municipality. At the Centro de Especialidades, donations can be made from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM. At the Casa de Cultura, the hours will be from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM.
The Transfusion Center, with the collaboration of the Burjassot City Council's Health Department, emphasizes the vital importance of blood donation, as it is a resource that cannot be manufactured and citizen participation is essential.
All individuals between 18 and 65 years old in good health and weighing over 50 kg are eligible to donate blood. It is not necessary to fast before donating.
