Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana (FGV) registered a total of 8,381,545 movements in July between Metrovalencia (6,679,343) and TRAM d'Alacant (1,702,202), representing a 4.33% increase compared to the same period last year. This growth follows the normalization of metro service between València Sud and Castelló, after reconstruction due to the Dana storm and the resumption of full Line 1 services on June 27th.
The six metro lines accounted for 5,676,633 journeys, while the four tram lines reached 1,002,710 movements. The day with the highest passenger traffic was Wednesday, July 1st, with 261,944 journeys.
Line 3 (Rafelbunyol/Aeroport) was the most used with 1,508,788 passengers. It was followed by Line 1 (Bétera-Castelló) with 1,025,380, Line 2 (Llíria-Torrent Avinguda) with 1,023,226, Line 9 (Alboraia Peris Aragó/Riba-roja de Túria) with 868,018, Line 5 (Alameda/Aeroport) with 702,180, and Line 7 (Alameda/Torrent Avinguda) with 549,041 customers. Lines 5 and 7 experienced service interruptions due to tunnel works.
For the tram service, Line 4 (Mas del Rosari/ Doctor Lluch) registered 503,913 trips. Line 10 (Alacant-Natzaret) recorded 253,975, Line 6 (Tossal del Rei/Marítim) had 230,118, and Line 8 (Neptú/Marítim) served 14,704 users.
Regarding stations, Xàtiva (L3, L5, and L9) was the busiest with 447,346 movements, followed by Colón (L3, L5, L7, and L9) with 381,077, and Plaça Espanya (L1 and L2) with 260,660. Next were Àngel Guimerà (254,315), Túria (197,334), Mislata (178,483), Benimaclet (176,626), Avinguda del Cid (174,931), Torrent Avinguda (173,020), and Facultats-Manuel Broseta (156,739).
Among the metropolitan stations outside the capital, Mislata had the highest volume with 178,483 passengers, followed by Torrent Avinguda (173,020), Aeroport (145,108), Paiporta (135,157), and Torrent (113,415).
The most requested tram stops were Alacant (L10) with 64,096 transits, Pont de Fusta (L4) with 52,900, La Cadena (L4 and L6) with 52,216, Ciutat Arts i Ciències-Justícia with 48,320, and Benimaclet (L4 and L6) with 44,246.
