The Moncofa City Council has distributed the school agendas among the town's students for the 2026-2027 academic year. The main novelty this year is the inclusion of messages on equality and inclusion, inspired by proposals made by the children themselves during the Pequeasamblea (Little Assembly).
The agenda includes dedicated pages for reflection on diversity and human rights, with phrases such as: “We are all different, but we are all equal with the same rights and opportunities”.
“"As every year, from the City Council we have gone to the school to distribute the agendas for the course, but on this occasion we wanted to take a step further, collecting the ideas of the children and embodying them in an agenda that transmits values of equality and inclusion. The students and teachers are very happy and excited with the result."
The Councilor for Education, Arantxa Igual, highlighted the satisfaction of the students and teachers with the final outcome, emphasizing the step forward that incorporating student contributions represents. She also wished to acknowledge the collaboration of the Equality department in this project.
The municipal school agendas, an already established initiative in Moncofa, are produced with the collaboration of the Agency for the Promotion of Valencian in Moncofa and the Generalitat Valenciana (Valencian Regional Government).
