The exhibition will be open to the public from September 3rd at the recently opened Espai Aura, located at Roger de Llúria street 2.
The opening of 'Instantes' marks the start of the cultural activities organized for the Modernist Fair, which officially runs from September 21st to 27th. The Councilor for Tourism, Lorena Zamorano, highlighted the significance of this new venue for the city's cultural circuit, thanking Clara Aura for her initiative in promoting art.
Clara Aura, owner of Espai Aura, explained that the center aims to preserve the legacy of her father, the painter and photographer Mario Aura, and to become a multifaceted meeting point fostering intellectual exchange and collaboration among individuals with shared curiosities and sensitivities.
Artist Belén Jordà described her work as an exploration of the human figure and movement, employing a watercolor technique characterized by vibrant colors and transparencies. Jordà emphasized the connection between modernism, design, and functionality, and how these principles can coexist in contemporary society.
