The photograph, depicting a group of friends in a black and white scene, will be housed in the municipal library. This piece comes from the exhibition “Beyond the Ordinary,” which recently concluded its display at the Espai d’Art Contemporani de la Barbera.
The donation was formalized by Mayor Marcos Zaragoza and Culture Councilor Marisa Mingot, alongside the artist, José Antonio Fontal. The mayor emphasized the significance of such contributions in enriching the City Council's documentary and artistic heritage, highlighting the value of the Espai d’Art Contemporani de la Barbera as a venue for showcasing artists' works.
The Culture Councilor affirmed that the photograph will be integrated into the library's collection, reiterating the department's commitment to enhancing both the cultural agenda and local heritage. The exhibition “Beyond the Ordinary,” which opened on July 9th, aimed to offer a fresh perspective on the everyday environment, transforming each captured moment into a living testimony.
