The 26/27 sports season kicks off in Alcoy with the opening of the renewal and application period for the municipal sports facilities pass. The pass is free for those under 18 and elite athletes, and discounts for vulnerable groups are maintained.
Prices and fee structures remain unchanged from the previous season. It's worth noting the introduction five seasons ago of the team fee, a membership option that offers significant savings per athlete and can be supplemented with an additional pass for expanded services. The aim of this measure was to streamline the process for entities, clubs, and athletes by setting a single fee per team.
Pass holders are entitled to access Municipal Sports Facilities with a public price, use the athletics track, martial arts room, multipurpose room, archery gallery, climbing wall, multi-sport courts, football fields, and municipal pavilions. This usage is subject to belonging to clubs or sports entities participating in official competitions, local or regional ones recognized by the City Council. The use of football fields, courts, and pavilions for official matches and training is subject to express authorization from the Sports Department for other uses.
Furthermore, users benefit from reduced public prices for tennis courts, squash, paddle tennis, and the gym. The pass also includes free registration and reduced fees for certain facilities at the Eduardo Latorre Sports Complex, as well as access to changing rooms and showers.
Interested individuals can complete the process at the Sports Center offices, located at Av. Juan Gil Albert 6, next to the Eduardo Latorre Sports Complex. Detailed information is available on the website [alcoi.org](http://www.alcoi.org).
