The program seeks to establish emotional and social bonds between people in similar situations. Through the creation of contact groups initially managed by a social worker, participants will be able to organize informal meetings, hiking routes, or cultural visits to places such as the cinema and theater.
The ultimate goal of this action is for the groups to achieve full autonomy over time. Those interested in participating can request information at the Department for the Elderly, located in the Àgora building, or at the Chamber of Commerce facilities.
“"Generating these direct connections is fundamental to building a much more human and cohesive city, where older people find mutual support and have the opportunity to enjoy active leisure that directly impacts their daily happiness and well-being."
