The day served to highlight the urgency of continuing to advance in resources and care for people suffering from neurodegenerative diseases. The main event took place at the doors of the town hall, where a commemorative banner was hung and a manifesto was read by representatives of the organization.
During her speech, the municipal representative highlighted the importance of making visible a reality that impacts both patients and their caregivers. It was noted that the work carried out by AFAC is essential to complement public care, especially in the stages prior to diagnosis, where guidance and support are vital.

The association, founded in 2018, offers a wide range of services including cognitive stimulation, active aging, and home support. The City Council has reiterated its commitment to continue collaborating with the entity and to work, together with the Mancomunidad de l'Horta Sud, to ensure that resources reach as many citizens as possible.
