The Special Operations Command (MOE), based at the Rabasa barracks in Alicante, will conduct military maneuvers in the vicinity of the city of Alcoy and surrounding municipalities. These drills are part of the units' regular preparation for complex missions, both international and rapid response.
The maneuvers involve the deployment of ground units and air assets. The aim is to develop various training scenarios simulating real operational situations, including reconnaissance, intervention, and extraction exercises. These activities are designed to enhance the units' readiness and response capabilities.
In light of these exercises, the town councils of the affected localities have been officially notified. Collaboration with civil authorities aims to ensure safety and minimize any potential disruptions caused by the movement of military personnel and equipment.
The deployment will serve to assess coordination among the participating units and strengthen their operational capacity across diverse geographical and operational environments.
