The L'Alcora City Council has provided opportunities for two unemployed residents through the EMCORP and EMDONA 2026 programs, filling access control roles in key municipal facilities.

The two new hires, who started this August, will be employed until May 31, 2027. They will provide services at the Municipal Library, the Ceramic Museum, and the Royal Factory, as announced by the council.
One of the positions was filled through the EMCORP 2026 program, funded by the State Public Employment Service (SEPE). This initiative aims to facilitate the hiring of individuals under 30 by Valencian municipalities. The new employee will perform access control duties at the Municipal Library for ten months, combining municipal needs with professional experience acquisition.
The second position was formalized through the EMDONA 2026 program, designed for unemployed women, with a preference for those over 45. This worker will be responsible for access control at the Ceramic Museum and the Royal Factory.
The Mayor of L'Alcora, Samuel Falomir, along with the Councilor for Economic Promotion, Pablo Delgado, and the Local Employment and Development Agent, José Vicente Solsona, welcomed the new employees. The goal of these temporary contracts is for participants to gain new skills and enhance their future employment prospects.
The EMCORP and EMDONA programs serve as a vital tool for municipalities to establish temporary employment contracts, offering subsidized work experience to the unemployed.
