The patron saint festivities of El Campello, dedicated to the Virgen del Carmen, have concluded with a Valencian pilota exhibition organized by the local club.

The patron saint festivities of El Campello, honoring the Virgen del Carmen, patroness of seafarers, have come to an end. The program, designed by the Fiestas and Traditions department, culminated yesterday with a demonstration of Valencian pilota, the autochthonous sport of the Valencian Community. The event was organized by the El Campello Pilota Club and took place on Trinidad street.
Through this initiative, the municipality paid tribute to its cultural roots and popular tradition. The exhibition was preceded by two matches, one of 'perxa' and another of 'llargues'. The sporting day also served as a tribute to Jesús Baeza Buades, a well-known and appreciated pilota enthusiast in the town, who recently passed away.
