Alicante City Council has announced a new Consumption Bonus campaign for 2026, which will have a total budget of 3.8 million euros to stimulate local commerce.

The program, carried out in collaboration with the Alicante Provincial Council, includes a contribution of 1.9 million euros from the provincial institution, while the rest will be covered by consumers. This initiative will allow the bonuses to fund 50% of the cost of purchases made in city establishments.
The budget for this call exceeds the previous edition, held in 2024, by 600,000 euros, becoming the highest amount allocated to this service to date. The campaign will be carried out in a single phase lasting approximately one month and must conclude before December 31.
The management of the program will once again fall to the Alicante Chamber of Commerce, which will use the technological platform employed in previous years. Soon, the council will specify the calendar, participation rules, and the procedure for acquiring the bonuses, which will be aimed at adults registered in the municipality.
