The Vilamarxant City Council has completed forestry treatments in Rodal 17A of the public utility mountain V091, located in the Monte Horquera area, improving the condition of the forest stands.

The intervention, covering 3.73 hectares, included thinning and improvement cuts on the Aleppo pine stands, pruning of low branches where necessary, treatment of dry and deadwood, and the collection and management of forest residues. These works enhance the stand's condition and reduce the horizontal and vertical continuity of vegetal fuel.
The project had a final cost of €11,006.77, including VAT, and was carried out through the Diputación de Valencia.
