Winners of the XXV Villa de l’Eliana Literary Contest Announced

The XXV Villa de l’Eliana Literary Contest has announced the winning stories in its Spanish, Valencian, and youth categories, with an awards ceremony scheduled for October 16th.

The jury of the XXV Villa de l’Eliana Literary Contest 2026 has revealed the names of the winning stories in the first prize categories for Spanish, Valencian, and youth (for participants aged 16-17) in Valencian.
In the first prize category in Spanish, the award goes to «La brisa amarilla» by Francisco de Paz Tante, from Albarreal de Tajo (Toledo). Meanwhile, in the first prize category in Valencian, the winning work is «D’un grisenc tirant a negre», written by Oriol Solà i Prat, from Santa Margarida de Montbui (Barcelona).
Regarding the youth category in Valencian A, for participants aged 16 to 17, the award has been given to «El flautista d’Alberic» by local youth Raimon Romero Reig.
The award recipients have been invited to the awards ceremony, which will take place on Friday, October 16th, at 7:00 PM, at the Casa de la Cultura.
The l'Eliana City Council has congratulated the winners and thanked all the authors who submitted their works, as well as the jury's work in this edition.
