The City Council of Torrevieja has announced a temporary modification to the weekly street market calendar, usually held at the Parque Antonio Soria venue, due to the LOW Festival.

The celebration of this musical event in the market's usual space requires the suspension of commercial activity scheduled for Friday, July 24 and 31, 2026. To ensure that both vendors and customers can carry out their usual business, the council has decided to move these dates to August.
According to the new calendar, the market scheduled for July 24 will be held on Monday, August 10. Meanwhile, the session on July 31 is moved to Monday, August 17.
As a result of these changes, during the weeks of August 10 and 17, there will be two market days. Users will be able to attend both on the Monday, the rescheduled date, and the corresponding Friday, which remains as per the ordinary calendar.
The Department of Markets has recommended that citizens take these variations into account when planning their shopping and has thanked the merchants for their cooperation and the customers for their loyalty regarding this temporary change.
