Participating artists must include the inscription «Benicarló en Falles del 12 al 19 de març de 2027», which they can place freely within the design. Works can be created using any technique or language, in A2 format (594 x 420 mm). The winning poster will need to be provided in various digital formats for reproduction.
Posters can be executed on paper, canvas, or other supports, using techniques such as oil, watercolor, airbrushing, or digital techniques. The artwork must be original and presented in a way that does not hinder its lithographic reproduction in four-color process. Each artist may submit as many works as they wish, provided they comply with the established conditions.
Poster submissions will take place at the headquarters of the Local Fallas Board, located at Av. Marqués de Benicarló, núm. 23, on September 21st, between 9:30 PM and 10:30 PM. Late submissions will not be accepted.
Each poster must be accompanied by a sealed envelope containing a slogan, the artist's personal details, and their DNI, without the slogan being directly signed on the back of the work. The jury, appointed by the Local Fallas Board, will resolve any unforeseen issues, and their decision will be final.
The author of the winning poster must provide the digitized format before September 29th, with a resolution of 300 dpi in CMYK and A2 size. Failure to comply with this condition will result in the exclusion of the selected poster. The single prize is 500 euros.
The jury may declare the contest void if deemed appropriate. Winning posters will become the property of the Local Fallas Board for exclusive use in promoting the Fallas, and will not be returned. Unawarded works can be collected by their authors at the Board's headquarters after the 2027 Fallas have concluded.
The jury's decision will be communicated to all participants by phone or email. The prize will be awarded after the end of the Fallas year, with the presentation of the winning poster scheduled for October 9th.
