A fire declared today at a biomass plant in Llutxent, in the Vall d'Albaida region, has spread to forest land, mobilizing a large extinguishing operation.

The Emergency Coordination Center has confirmed that the fire originated in a biomass facility and subsequently spread to the nearby forest area. Authorities have activated emergency protocols to stop the flames from advancing.
Four aerial units from the Generalitat are participating in the extinguishing efforts, along with three fire engines, four ground units, and a helicopter-transported forest firefighter unit. Additionally, the Valencia Provincial Fire Consortium has deployed three crews and two brigades to assist in the operation.
This incident occurs just days after another fire was recorded in the same municipality, which affected a vegetation area in a context marked by high temperatures.
