The Provincial Council of Valencia and the telecare services company Atenzia have presented the Agullent City Council and its Municipal Social Services with a recognition certificate as a Friendly Municipality for Older Adults, as part of the provincial network.
With this distinction, Agullent's efforts in promoting activities that foster active and healthy aging are recognized within the framework of the Valencia province's Home Telecare Service.
The certificate arrives coinciding with the special programming for Agullent's Month of Older Adults, an initiative that includes various activities aimed at promoting the well-being, autonomy, and quality of life of the municipality's elderly residents.
