The Gandia City Council has opened a new call for the School Cultural Voucher for the 2026-2027 academic year, with a budget of 200,000 euros, to assist approximately 9,000 registered students in the city.

The measure aims to support families with back-to-school expenses and boost local commerce. It offers a voucher of €30 per student, usable for purchasing school supplies such as pencil cases, stationery, backpacks, or musical instruments at affiliated local businesses, identified by a special sticker.
All students registered in Gandia attending public or subsidized primary, secondary (ESO), or Special Education schools in the city are eligible to apply. The application and usage period for the voucher runs from August 17 to October 31.
The Mayor of Gandia, José Manuel Prieto, assured that there are sufficient funds for all students and encouraged citizens to use the entire available period to avoid application surges.
Applications can be submitted online via the municipal website or in person at designated service points in Grau, Benipeixcar, and Joan Climent social centers. The voucher must be spent in a single purchase at one store. If the total cost exceeds €30, the buyer must pay the difference.
