The headquarters of the Mancomunitat de Municipis de la Safor in Gandia hosted on Thursday, October 22nd, the meeting 'Weaving Network. Rural women connecting territories', organized by FADEMUR País Valencià with the collaboration of the Mancomunidad and funding from the Generalitat Valenciana.

The event, aimed at women's associations and all women in the territory, was attended by women from various towns in the region. The Mancomunidad collaborated through its Agency for Equality, a service that promotes equality policies in the 31 municipalities of La Safor, working on the prevention of violence against women, awareness-raising, and the promotion of equal opportunities.
Initiatives like this strengthen the network between towns and give visibility to the region's female associative fabric. The meeting began with the presentation of FADEMUR PV and the Weaving Network program. Afterwards, attendees were able to meet each other and discover some of the initiatives that associations and collectives are promoting in La Safor.
In a participatory dynamic, the women shared their needs, contributions, and potential joint actions. Subsequently, Espai Llavors offered a practical talk on support networks, self-care, and boundaries. The meeting concluded with a collective summary of the outcomes.
