The Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) has renewed the board of its Alumni UPV service, which will now be chaired by Victoria González, with the aim of strengthening the community of former graduates.

Victoria González faces the challenge of leading Alumni UPV with the aim of strengthening the community and recognizing the contribution of the university's graduates. The goal is for the connection with UPV not to end with graduation, but to continue through mentoring, support for young talent, and the sharing of experience.
The new Alumni UPV Board of Directors is configured as a body for participation and connection, with representation from each UPV center to ensure diversity. Its members will identify needs, contribute ideas, and define new ways of relating to former students.
Victoria González, who graduated in Technical Telecommunication Engineering with a specialization in Sound and Image–Acoustics from the Gandia campus of UPV in 1999, later completed the Degree in Telecommunication Systems, Sound and Image Engineering in 2011. The board is completed by Salomé Cuesta as vice-president, Silvia Ballester as secretary, and Mercedes Iborra, Pablo de Gracia, Esther Pavía Alacreu, Marina Sender, Rafael Sánchez, Zaira Fernández, Miguel Mondría, Mariola Marcet, Álvaro Anguix, Federico Esteve, Francisco Alapont, Jana Beneito, and the presidency of the Student Council as members.
Alumni UPV brings together over 87,000 graduates from UPV. The service manages activities and programs such as Mentoring Alumni UPV, Alumni UPV Scholarships, class and center reunions, meetings of the 22 international chapters, and various cultural and networking activities.
