The Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) has premiered 'La bienvenida a la Uni', an audiovisual series conceived and produced entirely by students, which narrates the experiences of the university community from a young and relatable perspective.

The series, available on the official TikTok and YouTube Shorts accounts of the UPV, was launched at the university's Gandia campus. Comprising 15 episodes, it covers everything from first classes and new friendships to the nerves and doubts that accompany the start of university life, all from a daily perspective.
The entire creative process, from conception to filming, was developed by UPV students without the use of artificial intelligence. Direction was handled by Samuel Hernández and Vega Medina, graduates of the double degree in Telecommunication Technologies, Sound and Image Engineering + Audiovisual Communication from the Gandia campus. The cast includes six other UPV students, four from the Gandia campus and two from the Vera campus.
The series poster was created by Lewis Sánchez, also a student of the double degree, while Guillem Salelles designed the series' logomark. Several classmates from the program provided technical assistance, including Hugo Igarza, Miriam Molina, Adina Dan, Inés López, and Olga Pérez.
Promoted by the UPV's Communication Area with support from the Vice-Rectorate for Communication, 'La bienvenida a la Uni' champions new audiovisual formats and student talent. The series employs the narrative codes of digital platforms to bring the university closer to its community and to foster reflection on university coexistence, presenting both positive and negative situations to encourage respectful relationships.
