The Councilor for Festivals and Traditions, Sandra Gómez, emphasized that “October 9th is a date to celebrate our roots, our traditions, and our culture, but also to enjoy together. We have prepared a varied program, with activities for people of all ages, combining cultural and leisure proposals with some of the traditions that are part of our identity as a people.” Gómez highlighted the collaboration of the Majorals de Sant Josep 2027, which reinforces the participatory nature of the celebrations.
The Majorals de Sant Josep 2027 commission will also set up a bar during the potluck dinner on October 8th, offering food and drinks at popular prices to raise funds for the Sant Josep festivities. Most events will take place at the Espai Cultural Escoles Velles.
