The council of Beniarjó has successfully completed an ambitious communication modernization project, aiming to bring local administration closer to its citizens. This initiative has overcome digital and linguistic barriers, offering a web environment where public information is presented clearly, structured, and easily accessible to all residents.
The restructuring of the municipal digital platforms has included the adoption of simple and direct language, eliminating unnecessary technical jargon. Furthermore, internal protocols have been established to ensure constant data updates, reinforcing the right to access information as a democratic pillar in the municipality.
This action represents a significant advancement in the culture of accountability, making the management of public resources visible and accessible. The project was made possible by a grant from the Diputación de València, aimed at municipalities with fewer than 20,000 inhabitants to promote citizen participation, transparency, and local good governance.
